The universal HYGRASGARD® AAVTF humidity measuring transducer supports six output values and serves to determine diverse measurands in humidity measuring. Measurands include relative humidity and ambient air temperature. These measurands are used to calculate various parametres internally.
The x-U device version offers two 0-10 V outputs, the x-I version has two 4...20 mA outputs. The variables for these outputs can be predetermined by means of DIP switches. Output 1 can be set to relative humidity [% r.H.], absolute humidity [g/m³], mixture ratio [g/kg], dew-point temperature [°C] or enthalpy [kJ/kg] (ignoring atmospheric air pressure). Four different ambient temperature measuring ranges are selectable for output 2. Output 1 is factory-set to relative humidity (0...100% r.H.), output 2 is factory-set to a temperature measuring range of 0...+50 °C. Due to the different configuration alternatives, numerous measurement and control tasks can be solved with just one device.
The transmitter has been designed for operation in pollutant-free, non-precipitating air with neither above-atmospheric nor below-atmospheric pressure at the sensor. Application examples include medical, refrigeration, air conditioning and cleanroom engineering. The sensor device is suitable for wall installation.
