The analog zones are connected with RJ45, which can be converted into RCA connections with the help of optional audio splitters. Each zone has its own trigger output on the device for switching an external amplifier or active loudspeaker on and off. With A3 you can also connect two local sources (1 digital S / PDIF and 1 analog). A source connected to an input immediately becomes a source for all other zones in the Asano system. Both connections have signal sensors and automatically switch a zone on or trigger KNX events. The advanced DSP technology provides a 5-channel equalizer with treble and bass control as well as a selection of up to 8 different equalizer presets for each zone or room. No further network configuration is required. Simply connect the module to the KNX or a regular Ethernet switch.
